Introduction
Welcome to Glenns Valley Service Unit of Girl Scouts of Central Indiana. Thank you for offering your time and talents to the Service Unit.
This orientation can be done at your own pace and you can come back at anytime for a refresher. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email mcanada3979@glennsvalleysu.com and we will try to answer them as best we can!
Your responsibilities as a Leader:
- Understand information provided by Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
- Attend or be represented by at least one member of your troop (age 14 or older) at each Service Unit meeting.
- Use the current Girl Scout Leader Guide, handbook and other resources for your troop's age level.
- Be pro-active in asking for help from your School Organizer, the Service Team or the Council Office.
- Attend the appropriate training in the required period of time.
- Understand and adhere to the responsibilities listed on the Girl Scout Leader position description.
